ballymacnab regain armagh senior championship after 11 yr break‏

St Brenda's Ballymacnab last won a county senior championship in 1999 and star player that day was the legendary Olive McGeown. Olive was still in action 11 years later and this time, while playing an other starring role at centre half back had her talented daughter 17 year old Hannah playing with her at right full back. Ballymacnab dethroned the reigning champions Keady with a powerhouse performance to win on a 3-6 to 1-1 scoreline to record their 14th senior county title in all, with Ballymacnab's full forward Ciara Hayes collecting a hat trick and player of the match award.
